Earl Morrall was the best backup quarterback in history. He was backup for San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Detroit, New York, Baltimore and Miami and led two teams to the super bowl . He had his perfect season when he took command for Bob Griese and won 12 games for the Miami dolphins.

His career all started at a high school in Michigan. The high school was called Muskegon High School. Earl Morrall led his team to a championship. after the championship he had his heart set on the Mukegon State University team. He was offered a baseball career but did not take it on account of his skills in football.

Today Earl has a 49 year old wife named Jane, 5 children and 6 grandchildren. He and his wife moved to Naples, Florida. They work at charities like cystic fibosis, make-a wish and girls and boys club they also go to charitable golf tournaments in U.S.A

Earl started as a gifted kid by the time he was in high school he noticed that skill. It was to play football. He has led his high shool, his university, his A.F.L. team and his N.F.L teams to victory a bunch of times. He is my hero. Why? Because I want to be like him when I grow up.
