Thomas Edison is not only famous but a hero to many people. He has an interesting life; he was a great inventor and a great person. I look up to Thomas Edison as do many people.

I would like to share some facts about Thomas Alva Edison. Thomas Edison was born in February 11, 1847 and died in October 21, 1931. He lived in Milan, Ohio then his family moved to New Hampshire.

Thomas Edison’s invention of the light bulb was very important. The light bulb was very useful because people didn’t need to use a candle anymore. People still use light bulbs today.

Thomas Edison was a great inventor. He invented the transmitter and the receiver. The transmitter could send mail much faster than a train. The receiver could send mail back faster.
