Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein isn't really my hero but I do have a lot of respect for him. He could easily be named the smartest man ever. Albert is responsible for many advances in science and technology that we would not have today if it wasn't for him.

But Albert Einstein isn't my hero because of his intelligence. He is my hero because while he was in high school he applied for the prestegious science school Swiss Polytechnic, but failed the exam. Although he was a very smart man he did not make it into a good school. The reason I have a signigicant amount of respect for Mr. Einstein is even though he was not accepted to Swiss Polytechnic, he still went on the achieve greatness. He did not give up and he didn't let it get him down. After he was rejected, many people might have second guessed his intelligence and thought less of him. But they were wrong. He was still brillant and was still going to go on and work wonders in his life. He showed them that when they stopped believeing in him and didn't think he would go anywhere just how wrong they were. This is why Albert Einstein is my hero.
