Frieda Kahlo (http://www.fridakahlo.org/images/frida-kahlo-pictu (Frieda Kahlo)) |
She may not be a household name, but the Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, had caught the global citizen eyes of art. However, her painting skill was not the best; even her ideas of art had not been identified by most artists, but her courage and diligence actually encouraged lots of young people who suffered from diseases and multiple injuries. She got pilo when she was young and got hurt in a traffic accident at eighteen. Frida Kahlo did not weep over her sad fate every day, but braved her disease and expressed hert art.
Frida Kahlo did not have a beautiful life as other women did. Having a leg amputation, she had pain both physically and mentally. Therefore, she would often write about her suffering with pictures of fragmented organs. Later on, she got married with a famous muralist, Diego Rivera, but she had been betrayed soon. After experiencing the congenital diseases, serious car accident, and betrayal by her husband, Frieda Kahlo did not give way to the cruel destiny; instead, she still held an active and positive attitude towards her sad life. However, she is the woman who could be under such heavy pressure and become the most influential person among modern Mexican artists people had never seen before. For me, Frida Kahlo is the prime example of overcoming adversity.
