Jerry Yang and David Filo are heroes. They made a cool website called Yahoo! That website made them MILLIONAIRES overnight! That's how popular it was! This is why Jerry Yang and David Filo were heroes.
Jerry Yang's early years were complicated, but David Filo's early years were not so difficult. Jerry was born in Taiwan in 1968 and he stayed there until he was 10 years old. Then he moved to San Jose, California, which is where he started his computer career. David Filo was born in Wisconsin in 1966, and he later moved to Moss Bluff, Louisiana, at age six. David Filo went to high school at Sam Houston High near Lake Charles, Louisiana, and he ended up at Tulane University with a Dean's Honor Scholarship. He graduated with a BS degree in computer engineering. Jerry Yang went to Stanford University in California, where he got his bachelor's degree and later he got his master's degree for the exploration of science then he kept going for his Doctorate. This is also about David Filo's childhood. As you can see, David Filo's childhood wasn't as complicated as Jerry Yang's childhood life.
Jerry Yang and David Filo had many accomplishments. David Filo and Jerry Yang invented a cool and helpful website. This website helped a lot of people search and purchase things by letting them search websites and play games. It also let people do something that in the old days were not possible; it let people buy and trade online! These were most of Jerry Yang's and David Filo's accomplishments.
The surprise that Jerry Yang and David Filo did for the community was they were creating a very helpful website called Yahoo! Yahoo let people buy and trade online. It also it let them look at the news and know what the weather is instead of going all the way to a store or weather station. These are most of the things that Jerry Yang and David Filo did for the community.
Jerry Yang and David Filo had a life consuming obstacle. Their obstacle was that they could not make the website Yahoo! until they got out of college. The reason why they could not create it before college was done was because it was illegal to do so. This was one of the obstacles they faced.
Jerry Yang and David Filo would never have made an amazing website if it wasn't for their education. Jerry Yang got his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in the Exploration of Science. He got that from Stanford University in California. David Filo got his Bachelor's Degree and master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He got his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree at Tulane University in New Orleans. Those are some of the degrees that they earned in their lifetime.
David Filo has a few qualities that helped him become successful. David Filo is extremely good at Electrical Engineering, and he is very smart. He is good at a lot of things. David Filo can make your computer into a supercomputer! That's how smart he is!! Another trait that he has is that he can really fix your computer if it needs to be fixed. He is also really brave at doing anything related to computers. David Filo was very dedicated to his writings on the computer and he took a lot of pride in his work. One other trait is that he is really smart at whatever computer related things that you need him to do.
Jerry Yang has a few qualities that helped him become successful. Jerry Yang is really good at science, Electrical engineering and he is really dedicated to his work and he really knows a lot about computers. He can do anything that is related to science or computers. Jerry Yang can also complete any science problem that you have like a virus, spyware etc. These are the qualities about Jerry Yang.
David Filo has a few qualities that helped him become successful. David Filo is good at typing with his fingers, he is very smart and he is good at Engineering. David Filo can write an essay about making a website in 15 to 30 minutes!
An important lesson I learned from this story is to always go for your dreams and never give up I also learned that you can have whatever dreams you want and no one can make you stop. These are two good things I learned from this story.
