My hero is Jennie Finch because she is a great softball player. She was born on September 3, 1980 in La Mirada, California. She lives in Arizona with her family. She played in college. In 1998 she was a gold medalist with USA Softball at juniors Superball. She is so good that no one can wear #27 as a Wildcat softball player. She has hit 16 homeruns. For her team she was the pitcher of the year. She attended the University of Arizona and played softball there. She never gave up at all.

Jennie inspired me because I play softball too and I want to be as good as her someday. It’s also because she is on a college team and that’s what I want to do. She played in tournaments and I have seen her play on TV and she was awesome. The thing I like is that she is a really good pitcher. I want to be like her and play in college, and in tournaments.

She said that she loves softball and gymnastics. She also is doing her dream job right now. She has been playing since she was 5 years old and is playing today. She said if she wasn’t playing softball she would be in gymnastics.
