A hero is someone who risks their own lives to save others. Heroes have to be brave so they don’t get scared, smart so they can remember a bunch of things, and they have to be relentless so they don’t give up on anybody.

My hero is a firefighter because they risk their lives to save other people. Firefighters never give up to save a city from a fire. They really have to be smart so they can think fast to think up a solution for problems in a fire.

Firefighters are heroes because they save people’s lives by fighting fires. They also don’t really think about themselves when they go into a fire.

Firefighters are my heroes because if I ever get stuck in a fire I can count on a firefighter to risk their life to save my life and they will never give up on me. If I’m stuck under a piece of something they have to be smart so they don’t hurt me and they can figure out how to get me out.
