That's me (me)

Hello, my name Is John Fragale. My hero is my father. He’s a plumber and he been through a lot. I will talk about his exciting career and his hard worried life.

My father was born John J. Fragale in Brooklyn, New York. As a child he went to Catholic school until high school. His father Phil and his mother Rita loved him very much and I am glad they made him the man he is today. Later on in life after Catholic school, he went to high school and decided to be a plumber or a carpenter. Meanwhile for a first job, he worked in construction. Then he met my mother through one of my mom's friends. She first saw him running out of his house with a bat chasing this kid. Then he met a lot of friends and every year they would shoot fire works off the roof. Then one year when my mom was carrying me in her stomach, the roof went up in flames and thank god my father wasn’t up there. Then he married my mother and had me and my brother and now had a life.

Well that is some of his background. This is why he is my hero and other peoples' hero too. He has been electrocuted, burned, had carpel tunnel on both hands, run over, crashed cars, got the claw in is forehead, snapped the tendons in his ring finger, lost the tip of his pinky knuckle, got a rock in his forehead and other very painful things. My dad gets sick a lot and still goes to work and has an okay day, if no one gets in his way. My dad is other peoples' heroes too. My friend's dad is a drunk. He has a beer in the morning and day and night, he is always drunk. When I found out I tried to keep it a secret but my parents found out. We sat down and talked and my dad started acting like a dad for him. My father is a very caring man.

There’s a lot of things my dad does to be funny even if he’s embarrassing himself. He is such a goof ball. He and I are a lot alike. One time he thought he was the best skateboarder ever and he hopped on my skate board and was riding. I was surprised. Then he went on the rug and fell. We were always wrestling and horse playing. He really amazes me because he’s 41 years old and he can still do all the fun activities. He’s a great father figure.

My Father is now working at Pat DolanPlumbing doing his job. He is like a superman. Nothing can stop him; not the sleet, rain, snow, heat, people, violence, gangs or sickness. He’s almost indestructible. He is the best and no one can be a better father then he is.
