Frederick Banting

Umm… Hmm… I got it! I got the cure for diabetes. Do you know who I am? I an Sir Frederick Grant Banting and I discovered the cure for diabetes.

I was born in Alliston, Ontario, on November 14, 1891. I fought in World War 1 as a medic but I was shot and sent back home to Canada. A year later, I was awarded the Military Cross for 'Heroism Under Fire'.

In 1922, I discovered the cure for diabetes by creating insulin, something you inject into your body if you have diabetes. I won the Nobel prize in 1923. On Febuary 21, 1941 I died in a plane wreck.

I was intelligent and creative because I put an end to people dying of diabetes by finding a cure.
