He is Giorgi Antsukhelidze

There are many heroes in Georgia and around the world. They are all deserving people. Now I want to talk about Georgian national hero Giorgi Antsukhelidze, who is really my hero.

He was born on on the 18th of August in 1984. In 2004 he took part in armed conflict in Tskhinvali. From September 10, 2005 to April 26, 2006 he was in the Republic of Iraq for peacekeeping mission. After arriving from Iraq he had to stop military service, but he went back in 2008. On the 9th of August , 2008 Giorgi Antsukhelidze was captured by the enemy. After harrowing and questioning, they beat him at graveyard. Till November he was considered as lost. He is buried in Tbilisi at Mukhatgverdis gravestone.

After his death a video was broadcast. There's shown strict torments of Giorgi. In the video we can see that they were jumping on Giorgi's back and were forcing him to kiss the ground. He was being scolded and he was bleeding from mouth but he was still opposing the enemy. In spite of this terrible tortures, Giorgi didn't surrender and didn't say anything. He died for his country heroically. So he is really my hero.
