Hi, my name is Zoe and my hero is George Brady. George Brady is my hero because he is brave and nice and he never gives up.

He lived in a family of 4. He had a mom and a dad and he had a sister named Hana Brady. Their mother and father got taken away by Hitler. They only had their aunt and their uncle. But they were sad their parents got taken away. But their mother sent them charms. They did not know if their dad did die or not because he is gone.

George was brave because George found his way out of the death camps.  He was in a camp called Terezin and in Auschwitz death camp.  Death camps were places that the Nazis built to kill Jews. It was a horrible time, but he survived.

George is a nice person.  He is now living in Toronto.  He is a proud father and grandfather.  He is also nice because, when I wrote a letter to him, he sent me back a letter and a picture with his autograph.

George also never gave up.  Many people died in the death camps, but George never gave up.  He worked hard and he escaped when the Nazis took him on a death March.

In conclusion, George Brady is a great man.  He is my hero for many reasons.  He is brave, he is very nice and he never gives up.
