Graciela Sanchez

This hero is amazing. She has inspired me to believe in myself and to do well in school. She was born in Jalisco, Mexico. She didn't have much education. She only got to 6th grade! She grew up with a family of 5. Her parents, Francisca and Orencio, and her siblings, Anita and Jesus. As a child, she was very friendly and innocent. Yes, this is my hero.

What influenced my hero to become the amazing person she is now is that her children needed support. When her husband died, she was only 44 years old. Some of her children had moved out by then, but most were still young. So then she got a job picking strawberries. With the money she earned, she supported her children with it.

What my hero did for me to consider her a hero was that she has been there through all my difficulties helped me when I need advice, and encouraged me much in school.

Examples of my hero's actions were that she kept her family going throughout many problems. She usually volunteered at hospitals to help. She also has helped my mom and our family through our difficulties. Most of all, she has managed to be the #1 hero. The achievements my hero has accomplished are that she managed to continue life without her husband. She does many interesting things like passing the biggest castle Super Mario Bros. she is a really good cook and money keeper also.

The amazing character traits my hero has are generosity, curiosity, fun, loving, and very supportive. She is generous because she treats me amazing during my hard times. She is curious because she always wants to know how I'm doing in school and how my grades are. She is fun because she plays video games and entertains us by telling stories. She is loving because she treats all of us nicely. Finally, she is supportive when I need help in school. My hero influences me by showing me that I could do practically anything I want to be, helps me succeed in school, and always is supporting me in everything no matter what. Yes, this wonderful hero is my ABUELITA :D (grandma) !
