George Washington the founding father

George Washington was born February 22, 1732 In Westmoreland County Virginia. His mom Mary Ball Washington died on August 25, 1789 and she was 81 years old. George Washington was known for lots of things, here are some of them.

Here are a few major accomplishments, and obstacles that George did. First he is known for being the first president of the United States. One obstacle he overcame was during the Revolutionary War when he crossed the Delaware River. He was in the back of the boat fighting a sickness but he was still persevering and kept trying. Another major accomplishment he did was that he led the Revolutionary War, and also won our country’s freedom from Britain. Then he signed the Jay Treaty for peace with Britain in 1795.

Here are a few traits of George Washington. He is intrepidity because George was fearless and strong when he was in the Revolutionary War. He also has a lot of perseverance. In the wars it was very cold, there was very little food, and not much warm clothes but he stuck with it and kept trying. One more trait that George has is valor. He had personal bravery when we were fighting for independence from Britain.

I truly think that George is a hero because he cares about people. He will always be remembered as the first president of the United States. He was a very intelligent man.
