My hero is George Washington because he was determined and stuck to his beliefs. I will talk about the different aspects of his life and why he is my hero.

George Washington was born February 22, 1732 and grew up along Pope Creek. Around the age of five, he lost both his mother and father. He had to leave his home and live with his uncle.

He was the first president and led the Revolutionary War. He was a determined, strong leader. He put in place the major beliefs of this country and founded much of its life.

He inspired the laws of this country. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. George Washington held this country together in the most difficult of times. He led the American army in the Revolutionary War. He was the best president and first president. He succeeded in establishing a country after the colonies separated from the British Empire.

The fact that he was willing to go to war and withstand many odds that were against him made George Washington a hero. It would have been very easy for him to have gone back and work with the British, but he sided with the Americans. He is my hero because because he was willing to give up everything he had worked so hard to achieve. He worked hard and earned the rank of general in the British army but gave it up to lead the Americans.

George Washington was a determined man. He willingly gave up what he had and gave to the cause that he believed in. He lost his parents and had a hard life. George Washington built himself up and gave all of his efforts to a cause he believed in. He was a strong leader and I believe he was the best president we ever had.
