Gary Gait

My hero is Gary Gait. He is a Canadian lacrosse player at the age of 41. Gary was born in Victoria, BC, Canada in 1967. Now he lives in Cazenovia, New York with his wife Nicole, and their children Taylor and Braedon.

Gary Gait is an inspirational lacrosse player with 1024 career points, and 596 goals in the NLL (National Lacrosse League) and 224 in the MLL (Major League Lacrosse). He is one of the all time greats and practically wrote the rules to the game. His lacrosse career lasted 15 years. Nowadays, he is still a fantastic lacrosse player and is rejoining the NLL this season after retiring in 2006.

My hero is important to me because I watched him on TV when I was younger and wanted to be just like him. Lacrosse is great. I play lacrosse and Gary Gait was and is my inspiration.
