There are a lot of hero’s out there in the world that are make believe like Super man, Bat man, and all those others that people read in magazines or watch in movies. No one seems to care about or even know about the ones that live in their real world. There are plenty of people that are hero but just because they can’t fly or they are not strong doesn’t mean they don’t have hero like characteristics. It depends how you look at them. Maybe they fought through cancer, or they stop fires, but for me it’s none of that. My hero I have loves me, cares for me, and above all of that she’s like a best friend, that person is my own mother.

Yes, I know that sounds weird, but she is always there for me and she loves me like nothing else. She is my hero because one day when I was really sick and I couldn’t go to school and my dad was already at work and she had to go sub for another teacher. I was so sick that I couldn’t even move to get a drink or anything. She was so caring that she called and told the school that she couldn’t make it so the whole day she was at the house taking great care of me. I never forgot about that day.

I don’t know how in the world she does it, but she some how comes home everyday and deals with me and my dad and if you see us together that is trouble. With all the things I have done like go over my phone budget, or back talk, and even fail some classes she some how finds a way to look past it and say “ You will always make mistakes but just as long you figure out what you did you ’ all be fine. “

My mom is the best, even when I’m sad she’s there to pick me up. She is not just a mom she is a best friend also. One time on a Saturday I was really bored and there was nobody home and I thought it was going to be a long day, and to make things worse it was raining. I was sitting on the couch still bored and my mom came in the room with a chest board. We started to play and of course I won three times, but it wasn’t fun because I won, it was fun because I played with my mom.

You can see now that people in this world are heroes, you just have to look harder. Like my mom always says “Your a hero if you believe you are, “ I will never forget that quote and I will always love my mom.
