Manu Ginobili is my hero for three good reasons. The first reason is beacuse he has come a long way from playing basketball from Argentina where he was born to getting to be an All-Star in the NBA. The second reason is beacuse even if he is not shooting well he still gets rebounds,steals,and great passes to his teammates.The final reason is because even when he gets hurt really badly,

Manu was born in Bahia Blanca, Argentina where he played for in the 2004 Olympics and won a gold medal for Argentina. He plays in the NBA for a team called the San Antono Spurs where he is a point-guard. He has played for the Spurs for four years. He has gotten three MVP's in the European leagues. He went to the 2005 All-Star game which was his first. In one of his better games, he got 48 points against the Suns and we won thanks to him. We also won on 3-27 against the Rockets because Manu made a great fourth quater.

When Manu plays he is different from other players. When other players shoot badly, they quit; they don't even try. If Manu doesn't have a great shooting average he still helps his teammates alot when he gives them awesome passes, great steals, easy free-throws,and finally he gets rebounds. So just with that he is even better than most of the other super-star players like Kobe Bryant.

Manu is like a god because he gets hurt really badly, but he just goes to sit down and shakes it off, and by the next time they decide to put in players, he goes in. He acts as if nothing happend to him. He sacrifices his body almost all the time to get a shot and a couple of free-throws. It doesn't matter if he gets hit in the leg or in his nose, he just does his job. "It's my job," Manu has said many times to commentaters and reporters.

This is why a person who is still not even a big super-star like Duncan or Bryant is my hero and I think I will keep him as my hero. Manu Ginobili will soon beacome a great star and I will always be his number one fan.
