Jane Goodall was the first person to discover a way to communicate with animals. Her specialty is chimpanzees.
Jane Goodall was born in 1934. She established a research center in the Gombe stream Game Reserve. It was located in what is now Tanzania. She started it to study chimpanzee life and traits. She learned how they lived and communicated. From what they did, she basically learned their language. To do this, she kept track of what they did, how they ate, and how they got along together.
She found out that chimpanzees have unique communication systems and relationships and have the ability to learn to make tools. The Jane Goodall Institution for wildlife research was founded in 1977. Later she founded “Roots and Shoots” for children.
My hero inspires me to be nice to animals of all kinds. If I can do more, I will try to understand the feelings of my friend’s pets. I hope that Jane Goodall will be remembered forever.
