Hannah Taylor

Hannah Taylor was a hero to the homeless. She is the creator of the Ladybug Foundation. At the age of 5, Taylor saw a homeless man eat out of a garbage can. This hurt her. Ever since then she has developed a philosophy asking, Why? She wonders why people are homeless. Her most asked question was "If everybody shared what they had, would that cure homelessness?"

Because of motivation from her mother, Taylor started the Ladybug Foundation at the age of 6. The Ladybug Foundation is a program where everyone makes donations to help the homeless. Many people have donated money and donated ladybug jars. A ladybug is a sign of good luck.

At the age of 11 now, Taylor has been very busy. She traveled throughout the whole of Canada speaking to homeless people and corporations that help the homeless. She also had the chance to talk to the Prime Minister.

Hannah Taylor is my hero. She is my hero because I feel the same way. When I see homeless people on the streets, I feel very bad. Sometimes while I am eating with my family members, I think about how I am so lucky to have all this food. On the other hand, I think about how all the homeless people are feeling with no food outside begging for change and cuddling up in a hard spot to settle down for the night. I found out about Hannah Taylor on MyHero and learned about what she did for the homeless. I liked how she started a foundation to help the homeless.
