The right side of the brain-the creative side-is always at work when you are an interior designer. You are always making new things and putting a different and special personality on them. As a high school freshman, I am beginning to plan for college and career. To find this career, I was just randomly looking up interior designs and they looked great! That's how I decided to go forward with this career. I am creative and am attracted to careers in the arts. Organizing my surroundings comes naturally to me or else I feel claustrophobic. Interior design combines both creativity and organization. When I first discovered Hillary Yacobucci, I was searching for any interior designer on the internet and her local business was in one of my search results. She was a great choice because I was able talk to her directly.

Interior designers create safe, gorgeous spaces with colors and decorative things while also reading blueprints and being aware of building codes and regulations are what interior designers do, according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook website. Doing this, you can be as stylish as you want. Working with architects, engineers, and builders, as well as creating 3-D digital plans, are big parts of the job. More from OOH website, a bachelor's degree is required along with the classes in interior design, drawing, and computer aided design. Professional interior designers need to be licensed in the state in which they do business. The annual wage for interior designers was $47,600 in May 2012..The lowest 10 percent earned less than $25,670. More than $86,900 was what the top 10 percent earned. Most interior designers work directly with their clients to plan and schedule the work and work full time. Employment of interior designers is expected to grow 13 percent from 2012 to 2022, about as fast as the average for all jobs. The outlook of jobs looks good for about 7 years more, and hopefully it will still look fine afterwards.

To get my career hero's basic background, and how she got where she is now, I directly emailed her. When she was younger, Hillary Yacobucci was unsure about her future career. All she knew was that when she excelled in her first college design class, she knew that was the job for her. She was an average student with passing grades and played soccer as well. In her email she told me that her parents were always supportive when it came to her decisions and dreams no matter what they were. Right out of high school she went to Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, CA. After completing her Associate Degree, she moved back to San Clemente and finished some units at Saddleback College before transferring to Cal State University Long Beach to study Interior Architecture. Unfortunately, the program at CSULB was incredibly impacted, so she left that program to study at the Interior Designs Institute in Newport Beach. She went a lot of places but either way she got it all done, including her bachelor's degree in Interior Design. She graduated in the year 2010. Along the way she had two internships, and was an assistant to a local designer. Today she has her own residential/commercial interior design company called Hillary Yacobucci Designs + Interiors. She also works for her own Planning, Design & Application Inc. They are a hospitality company, meaning they only design hotels, resorts restaurants, and spas excreta.

Contributing to the community is something she does every 56 days. The number of days is so specified is because what she does is give blood. Giving blood helps a lot with surgeries and transplants mostly, which is very good. Along with that Yacobucci is a member on Etsy giving her creative ideas and thoughts. She also explains how she got where she is now with her career and how she loves her family. Doing this, she is contributing to the new generation of society, technology, helping it grow and flourish especially in the arts and creativity. Also, designing and creating a beautiful space for living that Hillary does enriches the lives of others.

In order to get into the field of interior design, it would be advisable to take courses computer-aided drafting, drawing, and design. I could begin by redesigning areas around my home with a free introductory program like SketchUp. When in college, I will definitely seek out internships. After graduating high school with good grades, I have my eye on schools like Santa Barbara City College, San Francisco State University, California State University-Long Beach, or Cuesta College. These colleges are in my choice preference because they are in California, studying interior design. I'll get my bachelor's degree in interior design. The way Hillary Yacobucci runs two businesses as well as starting a family inspires me to live in Huntington Beach CA and start a family. Hil1ary Yacobucci inspired me to follow my dreams and be a successful adult in life.
