Becky Hammon plays for the New York Liberty WNBA team. I admire her because she is a great player and I want to play in the WNBA just like her some day.
Becky Hammon was born on March 11, 1977. When she was growing up she had an older brother Matt and an older sister Gina. She has two rabbits named Griffey and Grant. She loved her mom’s pasta, lobster, and steak.
Even though she loves to play basketball she has time for the other things she enjoys doing. She likes to hunt, fish, do water sports, spend time with friends, and play softball. She also likes playing rec football, dancing, and, watching movies. She also enjoys singing and playing the drums.
She went to college at Colorado State. Now she plays for the New York Liberty at 136 pounds and is 5 foot 6 inches tall. She really enjoys being the point guard for the New York Liberty.
I hope that someday I will be a great basketball player and work as hard at it like Becky Hammon does. Not only is she my hero for basketball, but also she is a caring and thoughtful person.
