Hangga, my brother

Besides my mom, Hangga takes an important role in my life. He always helps me when I get stuck in everything, like the subjects in school and some of my personal problems. Although he is quite annoying sometimes, I think I must say ‘thanks a lot’ for his help until now.

Do you know who Hangga is? He is my brother. He is a smart and hard-working person. He is very talented in English since he is able to speak it very fluently and also very smart in solving problems that need deep analysis and logic. I have learned a lot from him. He always motivates me to practice the English everyday. He really wants me not to stop to improve my English. He has been doing this since I took an English course (at one of many English courses) when I was at first grade in Junior High School.

Besides English, he often teaches me a lot about Mathematics. He always supports me to do the exercise regularly. He is very smart in Math. Unfortunately, when he was in high school, he did not get a chance to participate in International Mathematic Olympiad (IMO). Because of that, when I got a chance to participate in IMO, he was very proud and excited. In order to win the title in the competition, he always motivates me and does not mind to spend his time for teaching me about the complicated Mathematical exercises.

We usually have fun together. It does not mean that we always hang out together. We have fun in our way, for example: watching a DVD movie together in the living room and discussing the story and terms in the movie that I do not understand. Besides, when he plays a video game (usually an RPG game), I often watch him and learn about the story of the game from its dialogs.

Sometimes, I fight with him for a moment. It happens when both of us are exhausted and cannot control our emotions. But it does not take a long time for us to go along with. For instance: although we fight at noon, we will be in peace in the evening (usually after he takes a nap). I do not have any idea how it can happen. Once we fight, he usually goes to his room and when he gets out, Wow…. He becomes cooler than the last time we fought. All of them do not make our ‘brother ‘n sister’ relationship over. They make our relationship becomes closer day by day, and I really thank God for having a brother like him.
