Devin Hester

My hero is Devin Hester, because he does his best to raise the Chicago Bears' spirits by scoring to win the game. For example, he brought the Bears to the Super Bowl while he was a rookie. He is a fast, smart, and energetic runner. He has now about 13 touchdowns from returning the football. His inspiration is a kick returner whose name I forgot. The NFL said when he was around that he had 5 gears. The kick returner said that Hester has 6 gears. The first five are to catch, to start to run, see where to run, speed boost, and dodging. Hester’s 6th gear is that he has an extra speed booster. The Bears really need him. They would probably not win as many games without him. Hester also helped his mom. He said to his mom that he would buy her a big house when he was little and he bought the house for her. Hester leads the Bears to good field position which the offence can use to their best advantage. Bears Coach Lovie Smith said Hester is someone who brings the Bears' spirits up.
