Hilary Duff is my hero because she is pretty, she is a good role model, and like me she likes to sing.

Hilary Erhard Duff was born on September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas to Bob and Susan Duff. People call her Hil. Hilary is 5 foot 5 inches. Right now Hilary is twenty years old. Her older sisters' name is Haylie. She has performed with Haylie in the Nutcracker.

Hilary has starred in many movie productions including "True Women", "Soul Collector", "Casper Meets Wendy", "Lizzie McGuire the TV series", "Cadet Kelly", "Cheaper by the Dozen", "Cheaper by the Dozen 2", "The Lizzie McGuire Movie", "Agent Cody Banks", "A Cinderella Story", "The Perfect Man", and "Raise Your Voice".

Hilary had launched her fashion label in the United States of America, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. In the fall of 2007 she plans to launch a junior's line in the United States and overseas.

While Hilary was becoming a film and television star, she was also launching a recording career. Her first album "Metamorphosis" was #1 on the billboard two hundred and went on to sell more than two million copies with the #1 single "So Yesterday". Hilary's latest Album "Most Wanted" appeared as #1 on the billboard 200 was #1 in Canada and #8 in Japan. Her hit single Wake Up was the #1 video on MTV and the #1 single on Radio Disney. Her second single Beat of my Hearts video was also #1 on MTV.Hilary has influenced me because I would like to be a singer at a very young age like her so I could have a long career.
