PUSH ON BRAVE YORK VOLUNTEERS

My Hero I chose is Isaac Brock. I chose Isaac Brock because he was a great part of the Canadian war vs. the Americans. He was the one that made them win the war. He was known to be a hero because when he died, which was about a month before the war broke out, he told his regiment something important that made them win the war. His words were PUSH ON BRAVE YORK VOLUNTEERS. That is why he is a hero to me and that is why chose him.

General Isaac Brock was born on October 6th 1769 in St Peter Port on the Channel Island of Guernsey. When Isaac was young he would practice boxing and swimming. All his classmates knew he was the best. He was a very handsome kid. He had a broad forehead and grey blue eyes. At the age of ten he transferred to Southampton to complete his education.

Sir General Isaac Brock was a brave and strong solider. He was a great part of the Battle of Queenston Heights. He was assigned to the war in 1802. Isaac was a British officer before he was assigned to the war. In the war his job was to command his regiment in the upper part of Canada. Isaac and his regiment were very successful for 4 years. Then in that year he was promoted to a Major general, and he became responsible for defending the Upper Canada. The people of Canada were proud of his great goals. When they heard he was the new leader to defend Upper Canada they knew they were safe.

After some successful years he took a shot in the heart. The troops came to him. He told them to continue your journey and said his main words. Push on brave York solider. Then his life ended. Isaac died on the year the war broke out. He died when he was 43 on October 13th. They had their celebration party and never forgot about General Isaac Brock.
