Ichigo Kurosaki

My hero is Ichigo Kurosaki. A hero is a person that helps people he doesn't need to help, or someone that overcomes a big obstacle. He is my hero because he is helpful. Even though he doesn�t need to save spirits from being eaten by or turning into hollows, he does. He is also very brave. He fights a Menos Grande, or a Less Grand hollow as it translates to. The Menos Grande is a giant hollow made from millions of other hollows, and it is very strong. Another reason Ichigo is my hero is because he fights the number six Espada, or number six Sword as it translates to, named Grimmjow. Grimmjow is an Arrancar, a hollow that has soul reaper traits. Ichigo is a Vaizard, or a Masked Soldier as it translates to, a Soul Reaper that has Hollow traits. Though he hasn�t learned to completely control his inner hollow.

A Soul Reaper is a soul that has a high amount of spirit energy, Ichigo however, became a Soul Reaper when Rukia Kuchika was near death after trying to save him and his family, she gave him her Soul Reaper abilities. A hollow is a soul that either lost their will to live, still had something to do before they died, or was eaten by a hollow and was reborn as a Hollow afterwards. Ichigo became a Vaizard when he was training to get his Soul Reaper abilities back after Rukia�s brother made him lose them. He trained with Urahara Kisuke, an ex-Soul Reaper, and the people that work at his store, and was put in a 90-foot deep hole, but was supposed to get out within three days, or he would become a hollow and they would have to kill him.

He got out right when his transformation to a hollow was almost over, so he had the hollow mask on, he took it off and destroyed it, but it stayed with him, and saved his life twice. Then, when he fought Byakuya, Rukia's brother, he was close to dying when the hollow mask started forming over his face, and his inner hollow took over for the first time. He learns to mostly control the hollow in episode 124, with a group of other Vaizard. He can only control it for ten seconds though. His name, Ichigo, means first-prize(Ichi) guardian-angel(go). Ichigo Kurosaki is my hero.
