What Inn is this
Where for the night
Peculiar Traveller comes?
Who is the Landlord?
Where the maids?
Behold, what curious rooms!
No ruddy fires upon the hearth -
No brimming tankards flow -
Necromancer! Landlord!
Who are these below?- Excerpt from "What Inn Is This" by Emily Dickinson -
Emily Dickinson was an American poet who, during her lifetime, published only a handful of more than 1800 poems. Dickinson was known for her eccentric, reclusive lifestyle and poetry that dealt with themes of death and the afterworld.
"Your mind is your universe and it is full of possibilities. Don't be afraid of being there to find yourself, your unlived life... And please think about this question: What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?"
