John Thibault (I made it.)

My hero is John Thibault he is my cousin. He was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. He grew up in Lethbridge. He still lives there today. His mom name is Deraka and he has two fathers, named Jim and Bill. He has one sister named Erin (she loves to play soccer) and a brother named Ben (he is in Harvard University). He really wanted to be a doctor. So he goes to medical school. He got a disease called cyclic neutropenia and he almost died and now he has leukemia. When he grew up he wanted to be a doctor and now he is going to medical school.

My hero’s life is remarkable because he felt things that people never even heard of. He has been through cyclic neutropenia which is a type of a disease that only a few people have been through. Now he is going though leukemia and when we were at the airport he went through security and he buzzed because of his metal hip.

His life is admirable because he has seen more scary things that we can even dream. My hero is strong, brave, courageous, used to be an athlete and nice. He is the bravest man I ever met and very very nice. His most helpful quality was his bravery when he was in the hospital. The most important lesson that I learned was to never give up. He believes in God.

I think a hero is someone nice, strong, brave and selfless. John is that and much more. My cousin John is my hero but may not be to other people. A hero does not become a hero for money but just does it to be nice. My hero never had a hero. My hero now lives in Lethbridge. My hero is still alive and he is 25 years old. Most of all his family is alive. I chose him as my hero because he was really brave. I learned that to never give up.
