Julie Kyle Averill

My hero is my grandmother named Julie Kyle Averill who lives in San Diego with her husband which most of my family call Dr. Bob because he is a very good doctor who works on backs, hips, and large parts of the body. She is my hero because she saved me from drowning in her large pond in her backyard. She is also my hero because she is very nice, takes good care of me, and helps me with anything I ever need help with.

First of All, she is very nice to me. She buys me presents on the Holidays such as, Christmas, Easter, and my Birthday. She also made my mom so I could be alive and be able to experience so many things in my life, be able to do many things I love in my life, and many things I need to be able to do in my life. She also is very nice because she cares for me and loves me by making sure I am always acting responsibly and I am being safe and she would risk her life to save me at any time anywhere if I need help.

Second of All, she saved me from drowning in a freezing pond so I could still be alive today and achieve many accomplishments in my life and be able to do so many things that I needed to do in my life. She once saved my life when I was in her backyard while playing with I think some of my cousins and playing around while not paying attention to where I was and what I was doing. It all started when I was playing near a freezing pond on her patio which included a pool that is very large, a hot tub that’s rarely warm, the pond I almost drowned in, a grill which was very nice, and a large deck that had many chairs and benches in it. I was playing around at the age of I think four while playing possibly with some of my cousins I slipped and fell in her pond. While I was in the water I was crying because I was very frightened and I was not tall enough to be above the water so I could not breathe. She dove into the pond with all her clothes on and picked me up and took me out of the water. Towards the end of that chaos she was soaking wet and all her clothes needed to be dried. I was okay that day but I learned my lesson not to stand at the edge of a pool, hot tub, or freezing pond because if you do fall in your grandmother or somebody might need to dive in after you and save your life with all their clothes on.

Finally, I think she takes great care of me. I think she takes great care of me at times like when she was diving into the pool to save me. I also think she takes great care of me when I am sick like one time when I was sick with the flu on my birthday at her house. She also takes good care of me by giving me a nice bed to sleep in when I go to her house and she lets me do many things when I want to.

All in All, This is why I think my grandmother is very nice, takes good care of me, and loves me. Not just because she saved me from drowning, because I love her.
