When I first read an article about Dr. John Brimhall, I was inspired. Most of my interests are involved in life/health science and he seemed like my perfect hero. How he was able to write books, create chiropractic tools and nutritional products is just amazing. He created an empire and a whole new level of chiropractic skills all on his own, with some help from his wife of course.
Chiropractors, I believe are magnificent people. They are able to cure people of their aches with ease, or so it seems. Getting a license in chiropractic skill is almost the same as becoming a doctor. You need to go to school for about two or four years after college. You also need to complete many science courses like chemistry, physics, biology, etc. Most chiropractors make an average of $136,000 a year.
Dr. John Brimhall has a very unique and outgoing personality that allowed him to succeed in life. For this job, you need positive outlook, and a warm, gentle personality. Brimhall fits these requirements to a T. He was well on his way to becoming a dentist, but the chiropractor he went to see for his numbness and pains inspired him to become one. He was completely numb from the waist down and in pain from the waist up. If I was Brimhall in that condition and came out of that office feeling brand new, I would have thought is was a miracle. After that, he immediately transferred to Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Dr. John Brimhall has written books, created nutritional products, developed chiropractic tools, and has opened many offices to help many others around the world. He even has programs named after him to help people improve their lives, like the Brimhall Wellness Center. With his wife, he manufactured a whole new level of wellness. He even discovered the six steps: structure, electrical pollution, nutrition, allergies, emotion, and toxins.
I want to succeed in many ways like Brimhall. I don’t want to follow his ways exactly, but I want to succeed in my own way. I do love life/health science. It interests me, the bones, organs, and their functions. It’s a little gross, but fascinating. I hope to do well in college and get a degree. My plan is to get into a good college here in California for two years and then transfer to a university (which in most chiropractic schools is required) along the east coast. Hopefully then, I will be accepted into a chiropractic school and earn my degree. If I do not become a chiropractor, I hope to have a career in the field of life/health science.
