My hero is my grandpa and here are some of the reasons why. The reason why my grandpa is my hero is because he has always been there for me. He left me being a kid who respects but sometimes I don’t follow them well sometimes. He taught many of my family members what’s right and what’s wrong.

Here are some facts about my grandpa. My Grandpa wasn’t like one of those people who like to lazy out. He was a pretty old guy and he was a hard worker. My grandpa work for the company of plantation. Later in life he started his own company named “CRS” Calderon Road Service. The job is fixing trucks that are diesel. He also went through all of elementary, middle school, and passed high school, including college.

Something that I liked about my grandpa was that he was very helpful. When we were living in some small building my grandpa went on the search for a house and he found a nice house except we needed to rebuild the house and he got all the stuff we needed and he bought all of the stuff from his wallet. There was a time that came when I didn’t get what my homework was about and I would ask for help and he would teach me some simple ways to do it. Besides that he showed my dad how the parts were removed from the truck. There would be a time when it would get super cold. He would go outside, get his machete and cut wood so we could get our own fire to warm up. I would put marshmallows to melt.

The only thing was that my grandpa was very strict so you would have to be doing everything right. Our grandpa told us the only way we could learn was if he were strict so everything would stay in our mind. We would have to do what he said so that the people who come to visit us would say wow you have a very good family or stuff like that. One thing that has stayed in my mind is that we have to learn how to respect others the way we want to be respected. Other times he would say this to me because they thought I was in drugs. He would say, “Do whatever you want but as long it gets you somewhere good and show your mom, dad, wife, sons or cousin that you could accomplish things that are difficult because there is a lot of stuff that could get you off the right track”.

My grandpa left us teaching us a lot of stuff that we could pass it on to our family members. But since my grandpa left us, we have left the family having problems. Even though the family is getting it together so we are having some carne asada or celebrations. Hopefully we could get the point of following the right way so we could succeed. And this is why my grandpa is my hero.
