He also voluntarily spends most of his free time with kids faced with disabilities. John Cena is a hero because of his hard work and unselfishness.

John Cena has always had a passion for athletics. At age 15, he became a  regular at the gym, working out almost every day of the week. This eventually helped him develop the trait of dedication. Being the second of five brothers, Cena soon developed responsibility by learning to take care of his younger brothers which turned him into a very caring, unselfish person. These events helped contribute to his heroism.

John Cena is a hero to many because of his selflessness and dedication. Today, many in the celebrity world have it easy and are inconsiderate towards others, but it isn't this way for John Cena. According to the article, "The wrestler [John Cena] holds the all time record for most wishes granted through the organization [Make-a-Wish], with 500"(Donnelly 2015). This evidence shows John Cena is selfless and a hero to many because of his optional work through the Make-a-Wish Foundation, a voluntary non-profit organization where kids with disabilities can meet their real life heroes. This piece proves John Cena is dedicated to what he does because it shows that Cena never gave up and kept working hard, which is a heroic virtue. Based upon these facts because of his selflessness and dedication, John Cena is seen as a hero and inspiration to many.

Thanks to Cena's heroic actions, he has left a huge impact on our world and many long-term effects. Inspired by Cena, the WWE is now more involved with more charities and anti-bullying campaigns such as "Be a STAR", a program in which its mission is to create a positive social environment for all regardless of age, race, religion, gender, etc. He has also inspired several other athletes to participate in the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Cena's inspirational activities have highly affected our world today.
