Jesus Christ

What is a hero to you? To me a hero is someone who is loving, giving, and inspirational. My hero is Jesus; to me Jesus Christ has all the characteristics of being a hero. Jesus Christ was born on December 25. Jesus was born in a town called Bethlehem. There was a girl named Mary who lived in a village called Nazareth. She was going to marry Joseph. Mary was a wonderful girl so one day an angel told her, “The Lord is with you.” The angel told Mary she was going to have a baby named Jesus.

Jesus was very giving because he gave lessons on how to be a better person. He also gave his life in order to forgive our sins. Jesus is inspirational because he did many great things. One time Jesus healed ten men that had leprosy. People that had that disease could not live with their families because their families would get sick, too.

Jesus showed he was giving. When a poor blind man from Jericho heard that Jesus was coming to town, he was very happy. He would ask “Is Jesus here?” When Jesus came he yelled louder and louder “Is Jesus here?” When Jesus heard him, the man called, “Jesus, have mercy.”

Jesus said, “What is it that you want me to do?” The man asked for his vision and Jesus gave the man his sight.

Jesus is important to me because he makes me want to do good things. Jesus makes me think twice before I do something.
