John Dalton is and will be a Renaissance man because he fits the definition of a Renaissance man by pushing the limits of science. He worked really hard all the time.
John Dalton was born in Eaglesfield in England in 1766. Dalton was color blind as a child(Britannica). Dalton published the first major study of color blindness at the age of 16. Five years later he published the law known as Dalton's Law of Partial Pressure(Britannica). John Dalton got a nickname, the Father of Nanotech. He was a scientist. John Dalton was born into a Quaker family(World Book).
John Dalton was a math teacher in Manchester. John Dalton influenced a lot of scientists to work on what he did(Science Reference Center). John Dalton proposed an atomic matter(Britannica). John Dalton also made the Dalton's law. the Dalton's law is a scientific periodic table - he studied and he made a rule for the periodic table(World book). John Dalton was colorblind for 8 years since when he was born which was 1766-1844. He was colorblind(Britannica).
John Dalton recorded the weight ratios of 21 elements of the periodic table of an atom. (Science Reference Center) he would also measure the top of the mountain and climb mountains to record the high altitude tempters and pressure with his atomic theory he made. (Britannica) Dalton published the first major study of color blindness an affliction he had in 1802. (Science Reference Center) John Dalton was a pioneer so he had to work with not a lot of stuff to use to make science but after he published his work he became really rich. (World Book)
"He proceeded to calculate atomic weights from percentage compositions of compounds, using an arbitrary system to determine the likely atomic structure of each compound"(Science Reference Center). If there are two elements that can combine, their combinations will occur in a set sequence(Science Reference center). The first compound will have one atom of A and one of B; the next, one atom of A and two atoms of B; the next, two atoms of A and one of B; and so on.
"Hence, water is hot(World History). Dalton also came to believe that the particles in different gasses had volumes and surrounds of caloric , thus explaining why a mixture of motion"(World History). Dalton is a renaissance man as the rebirth of the spirit to push the limits of science. John Dalton later died of a stroke.
