John Deere is an American inspiration. A role model of the American dream. The inventor of the plow, and my favorite hero, John Deere. John Deere started his blacksmith's shop in 1837 and started out by building horseshoes for horses. The company he founded back in 1837 is now the world’s largest producer of agricultural goods.
What is now Deere and Company was founded in 1837 in Moline, Illinois. It all started out as a little blacksmiths shop. John Deere started by building a self cleaning plow, a plow that would not let dirt stick to it. In 1923 Deere bought out the Waterloo small engines company which was producing small tractors. In 1924 John Deere produced and marketed the very first tractor produced in the Deere name.
Deere and Company is the world’s largest producer of agricultural goods. The world headquarters are located in Moline, Illinois. In the museum of Deere there is the 121st 4020 ever made one of the most popular tractors ever produced by John Deere. There is also the world's smallest self propelled combine, the model 40. Now John Deere makes plows, chisels, tractors, disks, loaders and many other items.

John Deere also makes many other items, Including bikes, tools, hats air compressors and many other items. They also have their own line of clothing and they even make toys for the smaller kids of the world. Some of John Deere’s core values are integrity and quality.
From John Deere’s founding back in 1837, John Deere has seen many business changes. Change always comes with opportunity. John Deere has always been willing and ready to embrace it. Deere has never forgotten the people it serves nor its core values set back in 1837. It has served as as a large producer of Ag goods and will to continue to serve.

You are one of the biggest inspirations to engineers, designers and other builders of agricultural machinery in the world. You have made an empire that is to this day still building the unarguably the most famous brand of equipment ever made. The Deere and Company is the largest producer of agricultural machinery and products. John Deere founded Deere and Company in 1837. The began producing plows in 1837 and started producing other products after that. By the 1900s Deere and company was producing plows, wagons, harrows and disks and many other projects. In 1932 Deere bought out the Waterloo small engine company. Waterloo engine company was making a variety of tractors by this time. In 1934 John Deere produced its first tractor, the model D. The model D was Deere’s most successful tractor till this day. The model D produced 15 horsepower at the drawbar and was claimed to make 23 at the belt pulley. After the model D came the Rest of the letter series tractors. The model A,B,G,H,L and M. all of these letter tractors were produced until 1952. Deere and Company today is still producing tractors by the millions.
