Janez Drnovsek

Dr. Janez Drnovsek. He was born on 17 May  1950 in Celje. He was brought up in Kisovec. When he finished school he was taught to help people. When he finished school he first worked in IGM Zagorje ob Savi, later in Bank Trbovlje. He decided to run for the president of Yugoslavia. He became the president of the Army.

In 2003 he become the President of the Republic of Slovenia. He was President to 2007. In that time he helped many people and our country. He didn't make any differences about race. He helped the gypsies to get a home, he donated a lot of many to our biggest hospital in Ljubljana to buy the equipment for curing cancer. With this project he saved and helped people's lives.

He had cancer. He fought with cancer for many years and had many operations. He changed many thing in our country for the better. On 23 February 2008 he died in his house in Zaplana. He is buried in Zagorje ob Savi. He left behind his son, daughter and his people. 

I think he was the best President of our country. He was humanitarian and the best President in our country.
