My hero is Juan Felipe Gaviria because he of his work and dedication. He has even been the mayor of Medellin, the Colombian Transportation Minister, and the President of many important companies. He did not decide to be a “dirigente” but he felt that all things should be done with love and responsibility. His favorite part of his job is work meetings because the interaction with the people helps to enrich his ideas and the ideas of others. His worst day at the job was when he was discussing issues related to EPM telecommunications business and he received such a bad treatment. He still remembers that incident with terror.

Loving his work made him come back day after day but he can’t deny that sometimes he felt that he wanted to quit. He prepared himself to become a leader by studying hard. He always worked with responsibility and love because he believed that success will come attached. He worked in many places but his last job was being general manager in EPM. With respect to the subject of on-the-job heroes, Juan Felipe Gaviria says, ”Heroes will always be all the people who quietly work every day to make our lives kinder.”

My grandfather had worked continuously for 45 years. In regard to his most important achievement, Juan Felipe Gaviria states, ”Normally we are not very good judges of ourselves, in any case I think that my most important achievement, what makes me feel very proud, is my family, the family I built with my wife, my daughter and my three sons.” That was my interview I hope that now you know well about my grandfather, MY HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
