Jamie Henley

by Madison from Odessa

A hero to me is a real or fake person that never gives up for what they believe in, and stands up for others. They are brave, caring, courageous, thoughtful, and much more. My hero is my mom because she takes care of me, and gives me strength when I am down. When I think of a hero my mom is the first person I can think of. I am going to write an essay on my mom, and how she is a hero to me and others.

My mom is my hero because she cares about me, never gives up on me, stands up for what she believes in and also me of course, and one thing she always does is she never backs down. My mom is a hero to others because she makes them happy, cares about them, and helps them do things with or without her. My mom can help you do anything you ever wanted, but she said, "you have to ask her yourself". My mom makes a human day come true every day, by giving a homeless person a dollar, or saving a pet by feeding it water and food.

My mom wanted to name me K-Mee Renee Henley, my dad wanted to name me Madison Taylor Henley, so they named me Madison Taylor Henley for my dad. My mom wanted to have a child at age 25, but my mom and dad were both 19 when my mom had me in Odessa, Texas, and they got a divorced when I was 1 year old. My mom was also born in Odessa, Texas. My mom only had me, and no more children, but my dad has 2 daughters not counting me. My mom works at 7-11 and has been the manager for thirteen years now, and she said, "It gave her the hours to fit my schedule and time being with me". She has lived in Odessa, Texas, for her whole life, but she said," If she never had me she would live in Dallas, Texas".

My mom is lovable, nice, always there to talk too, admirable, inspiring, love-hearted, and much more. My mom takes me anywhere I want to go, and is always beside me through good or bad. She does anything with me, and gets me things I want or need. She even plays with me when I get bored and helps me with my homework when I need it. She takes me to Shout, Ata, and more places. I can tell you right now my mom is an intelligent lady. My mom is my best friend, and she will always be.

Mom,
Thank you for always being there for me though good and bad, and always standing up for me. Thank you mom for taking care of me, and never giving up on me. Thank you for taking me places where I want to go, and putting me in things that cost a lot of money to do. Mom, I love you so much, and thank you for saying, "I'm your hero, and that you had me". Mom, I'm glad you're my mom and nobody else is.
Thank you and love you always,
Madison Henley!
