A hero uses knowledge to be good at what he does. Heroes need to be brave and not be afraid to do brave things. For a hero, you need to be skilled to be good at what you do. My hero is my dad. My dad fits my definition of a hero because he is smart, skilled, and fearless.
My dad is smart because he knows a lot about cars. He knows about the different parts of a car, truck or van. He can figure out how long it will take to repair a part on a vehicle. My dad uses a computer program to help him write estimates. To be successful, you need to know a lot about cars, how to repair them, and how long it will take to repair the damage.
There are a lot of aspects you need to know to run a body shop. He is skilled because when he takes something apart, he knows how to put it back together. Another way he is skilled is when he knows what colors to mix together to make a specific color. He also knows how much paint is measured to make a certain amount of paint. Also he knows how to run a business efficiently. My dad, if he doesn’t know how to take a new car apart, he knows how to research about how to take the car apart.
Jeff Judd is fearless because he works under cars supported by jack stands. He smells toxic fumes all day. He is determined to get things done when they’re supposed to be done. He has to deal with a lot of dangerous chemicals. No matter what the weather is he still has to go to work.
In Summary these are my characteristics of a hero. This definition of a hero is the reason I picked my dad as my hero. He teaches me about things such as cars and is he helps me fix things.
