I didn't have to think at all who my hero was because I already know that it would have to be my grandpa. He is the hardest worker I've meet and he doesn't think anything is impossible. I think a hero is someone who is adventurous, funny, and loving. A hero would never let you down.
His family comes first in his life. No matter what the issue is he somehow can also talk to you and you feel like you can succeed in life. One of my cousins was having problems with drinking and drugs and he did everything he could to help her. He let her stay at his house for a year and paid for her to go to college in Mankato. She is a new and better person than she's ever been.
My grandpa is the funniest person I know. Every year my grandpa tries to get the whole family to go on a trip for a couple of weeks. One time we went on a camping trip and we wanted to make s'mores. It was raining out that night so we ended up just making them over the stove in the motor home. It was the best night I've ever had. I never have a dull moment with him, he always makes me laugh.
When my grandpa was younger he said that he had no idea what he wanted to do after high school. He went to college for a couple of years and ended up starting his own business called Keizer Refrigeration. They fix semi trailers and sell and rent them to other people. He has made so much money and is so happy with what he is doing, I don't think he will ever retire. It makes me believe that I can succeed just like him.
I will never forget my grandpa. He has had the biggest impact on me since I was little. I hope when I have kids they will get to meet him and see how much fun he is. He will always be my hero.
