Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Shrader Lawrence is a very hard working actress. She never gave up on becoming an actress. Jennifer is my hero. The category I would put Jennifer in would be the ARTIST category. For a role in a movie the actor or actress doesn't have to be 100% dramatic, or perfect, or beautiful. They have to be hard working and determined to get the role or get the line right. That's what Jennifer did. She worked her way up to become a fantastic actress. Jennifer never gave up on her dream.

Jennifer had a busy early life before her acting career started. First, Jennifer Shrader Lawrence was her birth name. She was born on August 15, 1990. She is 23 years old (present) and her occupation is a hard- working actress. Second, ever since Jennifer was 13, she wanted to be an actress. Her mother and father said she could never do it but that didn't stop Jennifer. Also, when spring break let out when Jennifer was in 7th grade, she begged her mom to take her to New York City. It turns out, Mrs. Lawrence did. Next, Jennifer was at New York City she saw a commercial being filmed. A talent agent went up to her and asked her if she could read a cold read. The next day Jennifer started working with the same talent agent after reading the cold read. Her parents agreed to let her stay in New York. Jennifer's early life was very busy for her.

Jennifer has helped and created many organizations. First, Jennifer helped and built 5 charities. The Thirst Project, Feeding America, and World Food Program. Second, she built The Jennifer Lawrence Program which helped out Screen Actors Guild Foundation and Do Something. Next, Jennifer organized the early screening "Catching Fire" to benefit Saint Mary's Center, a disabilities organization in Louisville, Kentucky. Also, basically all Jennifer's accomplishments are her awards for working very hard in the movies she has been in. Jennifer has been a sincere help to many of the organizations she has participated in.

Jennifer has gone through one problem in her career. First, Jennifer tried out for the part of Katniss in the movie The Hunger Games. When film director, Gary Ross, announced that Jennifer was going to play the part of Katniss, some Hunger Games fans disagreed. Second, on online websites, The Hunger Games fans posted that Jennifer was terrible for the part. They listed the differences between Katniss Everdeen and Jennifer Lawrence. Also, director of the Hunger Games said that Jennifer was the perfect person for the role of Katniss. Suzanne Collins, writer of the Hunger Games book series, agreed with Ross. Jennifer has gone through a problem during her acting career, but has managed it.

Jennifer has received many awards that she has worked hard for. First, some awards are for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook Jennifer earned an Academy Award for best actress. Second, she received four Critics' Choice Movie Awards for Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle. Also, Jennifer received a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle. Next, in 2014, Jennifer won her first BAFTA Award for her performance in American Hustle. Those are all the awards and accomplishments Jennifer has earned for her performances in the movies she starred in.

There are many qualities Jennifer Lawrence has. First, one quality she has is courage. Jennifer Lawrence never gave up on becoming an actress when she was little. Now she is starring in The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and soon Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2. Second, another one of Jennifer's qualities is thoughtful. Jennifer Lawrence created and participated in 5 charities. She made one called, The Jennifer Lawrence Foundation which supports Screen Actors Guild Foundation and Do Something. Last, Jennifer is creative. Jennifer created The Hunger Games: Catching Fire to benefit Saint Mary's Center, a special disabilities organization located in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky and raised more than $40,000 for the cause. Jennifer Lawrence has many different qualities.

Jennifer has inspired me to never give up on my dreams or what I work hard for. Not just me though, lots of other people probably are inspired by her work. I've always thought she was the best actress in the world, but she also is my inspiration. Jennifer has gone through many problems and has won many awards. She also has created and raised charities, but most importantly she has inspired people.
