John Legend is a famous singer/songwriter who made his dreams come true through determination and hard work. When he first found his passion to start a music career he knew it meant a lot to him, so he did what he had to do to make music his full time job. John Legend wasn't born in the spotlight, he was a normal boy in Springfield, Ohio. He went to school, he graduated college, and worked a few jobs to make some money. He didn't know that he would soon pursue music as a full time job.John Roger Stephens or also know as John Legend was born on December 28,1978. He was home schooled by his mother, Phyllis Stephens. Legend then attended North High School and graduated as salutatorian of his class. John Legend then attended the University of Pennsylvania and studied English and focused on African American literature. John Legend, graduated college and started playing little shows at night clubs or bars he was later introduced to Kanye West who signed him to a record deal. John Legend is a hero because a hero possess determination to get things done no matter what people say or do to try and stop them. They also need to be hard working to get things done without procrastinating and without any distractions. John Legend is a man of determination, he works hard to accomplish his biggest goals and dreams in his life.

John Legend is someone who is determined to make his dreams come true no matter what or who tells him he can't.John Legend didn't start at the top of music , John Legend graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and studied English. He then worked in the management consulting job with the Boston consulting group. After his job he sang at nightclubs and still pursued music. "After spending his days preparing spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations for his consulting clients, he would spend his nights pursuing nightclub gigs along the Boston-Philadelphia corridor. He lasted three years in the consulting job before quitting to pursue music full time." John Legend is committed to his music career and is determined to make his music life work for him. This quote also shows how that he had to take that big leap to start a music career full time. John Legend is also determined to make his music about his own struggles what other people are going through and how people and himself are feeling. He writes positive lyrics to make people feel happy when listening to his music. This next quote show exactly this. "Ivy League graduate, he is active in musical genres whose other performers have often attended only the school of hard knocks. His positive lyrics explore the intricacies of romance and human emotional life" John Legend is determined to still make music to inspire people and send a message to people in all different types of situations. John Legend knows how to make his music happy and cheerful but also know how to make his music have meaning. In the quotes above they show how determined John Legend is to make his music meaningful and to make his music dreams come true. He doesn't care who stands in his way or who tells him he can't because he is too focused on his goals.

John Legend works hard to achieve his goals and to make his dreams come true. John Legend has won many awards as he works so hard on his career and he doesn't quit just because something doesn't go his way. "John Legend won 3 Grammy awards but was nominated for 8 because Get Lifted and Ordinary people" Legend won the 3 Grammy because he was hard working and was committed to make good music to satisfy the people. John Legend worked hard to earn his Grammy and is a good example for a hero. John legend was a young success but didn't just stop at his first album. He work even harder than before and didn't stop working, he may have even worked too much to handle. "A self-proclaimed "workaholic," he spent much of 2005 on tour, opening for West's College Dropout tour and Keys's Diary of Alicia Keys tour. While Legend had been singing his whole life, he had never faced the rigors of singing ninety minutes per night, every night, as he would on tour." This shows how John Legend wasn't just a one hit wonder, he took his singing career seriously and never stopped working hard Legend was very passionate about his work and he worked so hard that he had to get a vocal instructor, he knew how to work hard and how to talk things their succession point. John Legend is hard working and cares a lot about his dream job that he has, he is passionate about his work which motivates him to work even harder everyday.

John Legend is a man of determination, he works hard to accomplish his biggest goals and dreams in his life. John Legend is a hard worker and is determined to be as successful can be, he loves his job I also hope to pursue a career within the music industry with his determination. He knows how to handle a heavy workload and how to deal with pressure. He also strives to work harder and harder everyday.John Legend inspires me because he is a hard worker and has the skill of focus and determination and knows how to get things done the best way possible. He is determined to stay on task and he knows how to handle stressful working environments. John Legend inspires me to work hard to achieve my dreams and to accomplish my goals. John Legend is a good example for a hero as he is a good worker and a good musician. John Legend knows how to make people happy no matter what condition someone is in or what there life is going through.he makes his music so everyone can relate to it. John Legend is a very good at what he does because he is hardworking and determined to to make himself happy and everyone who listens to his music happy as well.
