Joe Hill Louis is one the most amazing one man bands, in my perspective. Your great grandfather may have heard of him. Born in 1921, he ran away when he was 14 years of age. He lived with a rich family in Memphis.

A few years later he became famous as a one man band. At the age of 35 he died of tetanus; a rusted piece of metal cut his thumb.
