Eugen Malaniuk was born near Elisavetgrad in 1897. His father influenced him on his becoming a poet. He emigrated to Poland in 1920.
His name and works came to us after "perestroika". He was a famous poet. His works tell us about Ukraine. He used very wide some symbols. He described the images very neatly.
I think that he was a person who loved his country but couldn't live there.
