Never trust anything that can think for itself if you can't see where it keeps its brain.

In honor of J.K. Rowling, I did research about this hero in “Biography Today.” I chose J.K. Rowling because she has an interesting way of writing. After the research, I was glad I learned so much about her.

Who knew such a normal beginning would give the world such a hero? Born Joanne Rowling, last name pronounced “rolling,” on July 31, 1965, she was born in a small town, called Chipping Sudbury, in South Gloucestershire, England. Later in her life, she added the name of her favorite grandmother, Kathleen, as her middle name, so her name now became Joanne Kathleen hence the J.K. Her parents’ names were Peter and Anne Rowling. They met on a train when they were both eighteen years of age. Peter worked as an aircraft factory manager, Anne a lab technician; they fell in love on their way to join the British Navy. J.K. first married Jorge Aranes on October 16, 1992. They had one daughter named Jessica. The couple divorced on November 30, 1993. She later married her current husband, Neil Murray, December 26, 2001. They had two children together, a son named David and a daughter who they named Mackenzie

The foundation of heroism is education. Rowling attended two different schools. The one, located in Chepstow, was called Winterbourne Tutshill Wyedean Comprehensive. The second, was located in South England, was the University of Exeter

Hard work contributes to heroism. Rowling continued writing stories after college. Working two different jobs while in London, England she says, “I really am just all over the place when it comes to organizing myself.”

J.K. Rowling is important to mankind and changed the world. At age 15 Rowling’s mother became ill with MS (an incurable disease of the central nervous system). Her mom died at the age of 45. She also contributed to the world of readers. She wrote the Harry Potter series. As the number one top selling author in America, she was the first person to become a billionaire by writing books.
