My Hero is Justin Randall Timberlake. He was born on January 31st at 6:30 in the evening in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born to Lynne Harless and Randy Timberlake. While Justin was growing up he was really close to music. His mother signed him up for a television show named "Star Search" and even though he didn't win, it did bring him to other opportunities. Justin later starred on "The All New Mickey Mouse Club" with J.C. Chasez who would later also be NYSYNC. At 14 Justin became a member of the band "NSYNC". They toured the world and their hit album got them millions of fans.

Although "NSYNC" did not last very long Justin started working on his own projects starting with his solo album named "Justified". "Justified" was released in November of 2002. Songs from his album include "Cry me a river", "Like I love you", and "Rock your body"."Cry me a river" debuted at #2 in the UK singles chart. Justin also began working on another project. This project also was about music but not music for himself , music for children that are less fortunate. This Project was called "The Justin Timberlake Foundation". "The Justin Timberlake Foundation" was designed to help children learn music in their schools. Justin Donates $200,000.00 to Memphis Music Entities.

He also donates $100,000 to the Memphis Rock n' Soul Museum and to the Memphis Music Foundation. Justin also works with Shriners Hospital. Justin has a PGA Tour golf tournament with other events that raises money for their programs and services helping children in need. He also is a great person to the environment. Justin helps the environment at his golf course in Millington, TN. Justin's golf course named Mirimichi is the first golf course in the North America to receive the Golf Environment Organization certified status.

I picked Justin Timberlake because of his generosity and his tributes to the environment. Just like me his mother always told him to be a better person and to see now he is an adult and is a singer, dancer, and actor and still has time to to help people and the environment. Makes me wanna be just like him. Have a Profession and be great at it and still have time for charity work. Nowadays, diseases are going all around killing people or making them really sick and millions of dollars are needed to help these people with the diseases and not everyone can get helped but Justin Timberlake puts in an effort to help these people in need and that's enough to call him My Hero.
