John Cena

John Cena was born on April 23, 1977 in West Newbury, Mass. His dad's name is also John. His mom's name is Carol. His dad was in the army and his mom was a teacher. His dad was also a wrestling announcer. John's childhood hero was Hulk Hogan. In high school, John was a football player. He went on to Springfield college and was a Division III All American.

When John got out of college he moved to California to become a body builder. To support himself, he folded towels and cleaned toilets in a gym. At that time he lived out of his car! John was also in the U.S. Army for one year.

John Cena is an Ambassador for the Kid's Wish Network Foundation for kids. He donates money and also helps to make wishes come true for kids who are really sick.
