Jordan Clark is an amazing dancer but it took many years of training and focus to be where she is today. In fact, Jordan did a few other things before she started her dancing career! Jordan was born in Etobicoke, Ontario and now lives in Tottenham, Ontario. She has a younger sister named Madison Tainsh and an older sister named Dakota Clark. She also has a younger brother name Darcy Tainsh and a stepdad named Glen Tainsh. When her mom (Connie Tainsh) gave birth to Jordan on December 29th noone new a superstar was born.
Being a child:
Jordan Clark started off with a passion for a certain sport but it wasn’t dance, it was gymnastics. She only did gymnastics when she was younger but then out of the blue her mom put her in dance and Jordan loved it she says “it was the best mistake ever,” Jordan never wanted to be in dance. The thought never came to her mind but, when you fall in love with something you just can't let go, and that’s exactly how Jordan felt. Jordan also trained in voice and acting in her teenage years too.
Struggles in life:
Jordan’s mom was one of her biggest influences because not only did she encourage Jordan with her dancing but she believed in Jordan and even brought out a second mortgage just to pay for Jordan’s dancing one time. She is influenced by her family and her boyfriend because her boyfriend is a dancer. He knows what Jordan has to go through so she can get to where she wants to be.
Some of the obstacles Jordan has had to go through are her parents being divorced and the injuries that come along with dancing. With Jordan still growing up and her parents being divorced she could not see her dad a lot. She has gotten plenty of injuries in dance too but she just kept dancing. One time she fell off a big prop but she just washed off the blood and kept dancing.
Off to the Future:
Jordan is someone who is determined to reach her goal no matter what it takes, when she wants something she goes for it and never backs down, and that is exactly what happened with “So you think you can dance Canada.” Jordan didn’t want to be on the show to win the prizes, she wanted to be on the show to share her love of dance with the world and only concentrated on dance not winning and by having her focus she has achieved many things like W I N N I N G “So you think you can dance Canada” and got $100,000 dollars and a new Chevrolet Cruze. She has been in a few movies such as Camp Rock 2, Harriet the Spy, Sharpays Fabulous Adventures, Silent Hill 2, and several hair product commercials. Jordan is in the process of many more and she also wants to get into singing and acting too.
Model of a character:
I think the character traits Jordan show is that she is a risk-taker, determined, and smart. Being a dancer you do not know what the choreographer wants you to do but you have to be willing to try it and take risks on what they want. Jordan is determined to get what the choreographer wants to see, she will do the steps over and over if it means she will get it. While dancing she has to be smart because one silly mistake and she can injure herself. I admire her when she dances though because she tells a story with her movement and I just love that about her.
What she is to the world!: Jordan Clark is such a good-hearted person on the inside and the outside, she is the type of person who is determined to be the best she can be and is enthusiastic about everything. Jordan influences me just by being herself. I just think she is an amazing person and when I see her being so nice and encouraging everyone I just see a part of her that I want to have, the intensity she has when she is dancing I want to have, there is just a spark in this amazing girl, and when you see her you want to be like her. I can’t put my finger on everything that inspires me when I see her but it’s just something about her that makes you want to be a better person. Jordan doesn’t just inspire me but I believe she inspires everyone she meets. Her character is shown all throughout the day and when you see her in action she is focused and determined to reach her goal. I am inspired by the technically pefect way she does things. I believe she is very hard working and deserves to be where she is today.
