A determined head coach, Jimmy Johnson. (bleacherreport.net ()) |
Jimmy Johnson, now an analyst, was one of the greatest coaches to go through the NCAA and the NFL. He is the only coach to win a National Championship and a Super Bowl. He coached the Miami Hurricanes college team from 1984 to 1989, and the Dallas Cowboys from 1989 to 1993. He is my hero because he is all about perfection and he showed what you could do with an organization.
When he started at Miami he came in following a year in which they had won a national championship, and that year he had a record of 8-5. With five years at the school he had a record of 52-9, having competed in two national championships in 1986 and 1985. He only won one.

A man of excellence (bleacherreport.net ()) |
Though a great coach in college, he secured his coaching legacy with the Dallas Cowboys. As a coach at Dallas he won two Super Bowls following a season in which his team went 1-15.
