Firefighters

I am going to write about my hero. My uncle is my hero. His name is James Wilcox. He is a firefighter. He saves lives almost everyday. I am glad to have him as my hero.

He works in Florida. Sometimes he has to wake up at like 3:00a.m. and be on the spot right then. I don’t think there’s ever been a fire at the firehouse. I'll have to check. He’s really cool.

I don’t think they have a dog. I’ll check that to. The reason I chose him is because he helps almost everyone from dying. And I love him very much. I just hope he doesn’t get hurt in the line of duty.

He is very special to me. Fire fighting can be a scary thing. Sometimes forests catch on fire. I’m just glad that there are people that do something. I’m proud to say “that’s my uncle.” But hey, aren’t we all?

So, as we all know, firefighters are very important to the world. Yet there will always be a fire somewhere. And when there is, firefighters will be there to put it out. And to help people who need help. That’s why I chose him.
